Happy Tarot Tuesday! While this reading is intended for the week ahead (staring today, October 9th 2018), don’t worry if you don’t happen to catch it on the exact day. In fact, some people have told me they’ve found an old reading floating around on social media, and realized it applied to them in that moment. I figure the Universe will put the message in your path when you most need to hear it (at least that’s how my Pollyanna brain choose to see it! 😊 )
So now let’s get to the reading. For those of you new to this, it works like so – pick a card that you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. Some folks pick all three cards each week, and use this as a past/present/future reading. After you’ve decided on your card(s), scroll down the page for the card reveal and message for the upcoming week.
Here are the cards –
And to make sure you don’t accidentally see the card faces before you’ve made your choice, I’m using a picture as a spacer/spoiler prevention. This one is a quoto (quote + photo = quoto) from a post I did exactly a year ago, October 9th 2018, called Mostly Wordless Monday – Clouds Quote by Rabindranath Tagore
Now time for your message reveal. Here are the card faces…
…and here are my interpretations for this week…
1. Three of Cups
Time to celebrate. . Cue the dance music. Things are falling into place, even if you don’t see all the pieces yet. It’s time to grab your family and friends (local or online) and get your groove thing on. Don’t stop to try and analyze the situation – just enjoy the (practical) magic of the moment, and give in to the joy. Even if it’s something as simple as turning up the radio and dancing around in your kitchen with some midnight margaritas. You deserve this happiness.

2. King of Swords
Cut to the chase. You’re smart. No one knows more about this situation, and how to fix it, than yourself. You know what the solution is, and you’re just the person to make it work. One caution – while you’re right to feel proud of what you’re about to accomplish, make sure you don’t accidentally step on any toes. Don’t fall for the classic blunder of being like Vizzini, instead, ask yourself, “WWWD (What Would Westley Do?)” Soon enough, you’ll have everything, “as you wish.”

3. Nine of Pentacles
Retreat from the world. You deserve a break today, so get up and get away, to … nope, not that place. Unless, of course, you go grab a bag of Mickey D’s and bring it someplace to enjoy in solitude because up next on the menu is, “Escape, with a side of pampering.” It can be as fancy as a day of mani pedis and wine, or as simple as a quiet room with a great book (the chocolate and coffee go without saying). Indulge, indulge, indulge – plenty of time for reality tomorrow.
