Happy Tarot Tuesday, and almost full moon & spring equinox everyone! It’s time for another one of my Tarot Tuesday readings – this one is for the week of March 19 2019.
If this is the first time you’ve visited one of my Tarot posts, it goes something like this –
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!
After you’ve decided on your card or cards, you scroll down the page for photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Oh, and don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this on the exact day. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I also would like to point out…
Time to get started. Here’s a photo of the backs of the cards (and yes, it’s a new picture each week). Take a moment, then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.
Just to make sure you don’t accidentally see the card faces before you’ve made your choice, here’s a graphic to act as a bit of spoiler space prevention. Since Ostara/Spring Equinox is tomorrow, I thought I’d use this graphic from one of my favorite witchy pages on Facebook. Be sure to click on the picture to see the original post, which includes more information and ways to celebrate this witchy holiday. Thank you, as always, for letting me “borrow” this, Magickal Moonie’s Sanctuary! 😊
Now it’s time for your message. Here’s the front of the cards…
…and here are my interpretations for each…
1. Six of Cups
Happier times. You’ve discovered, or rediscovered something you love. Maybe a hobby long forgotten, or a person you’re reconnecting with. You now recognize how much you care. This is the start of something beautiful and meaningful – cherish it. This may also be a reminder that if you’re in the middle of some dark times, and you’re longing for the the idyllic days in your past, stop wasting your energy wishing for what’s gone. Don’t look back – focus instead on the positive memories, and use them to inspire new ones.
Tarot Tidbit: The Six of Cups was last seen, in the second position, earlier in the winter on December 4th, 2018.
2. The Emperor
Father of all creation. This is the fundamental father – disciplined, stable, and the protector of all those he cares for. It’s now time time to take charge of things – handle those responsibilities you’ve let slide, structure your time more efficiently, and put up boundaries with people/situations who aren’t giving you the respect you deserve. Remember, sometimes it’s good to be king.
Tarot Tidbit: After not appearing at all in my Tarot Tuesday readings, this is the third time The Emperor card has shown up since October of 2018, all three times in the second position, most recently also in December on the 18th, 2018.
3. Two of Wands
Stay focused. You’ve put your plan into action, and you’re beginning to see all the possibilities before you. However, you might be tempted at this point to try a short cut in the hopes of speeding up the process. While it might pay off, sometimes it’s better to stand fast and remind yourself of what you’re working towards while continuing the slow and steady path to success. Take a moment to look at the big picture, and know that your ships are on their way in, and soon you’ll be the king of the world!
Tarot Tidbit: The Two of Wands was last spotted, in the first position, also in December on the 11th, 2018.
Brightest of blessings to you in the week ahead!
