Tarot Tuesday reading for the week of June 9th 2020

Welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday posts! I started doing these free readings monthly back in late 2015, then switched to every week in early 2016. They’re by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today’s reading is for the week of June 9th 2020.

First, as I mentioned recently, I’m working on updating the look of my WordPress blog. I’m not sure if I’m going to stay with this current theme, but I’m liking it so far – in fact, I liked it enough to start learning some simple CSS codes so I could change the hover color of the links, and a few other tweaks. While I didn’t break my site (yet…lol) I am having trouble getting my usual banner photo uploaded but hopefully it will be back soon. I also think I finally got all the ads to stop showing up everyone, and have them contained to one widget box on the side of the page. Please feel free to shout out and let me know what you think so far!

Now to get on with the reading. The setup of how I do these was not my original idea – I was actually inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them (usually posting the card backs first, then the messages at a later time), here’s a quick breakdown on how this works…

First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like!

When you’ve decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.

Also, don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊

I would also like to mention…

April 7th 2020

Now here are the backs of the cards for this week. Take a moment to clear your mind, inhale and exhale deeply, center yourself – whatever you need to do to focus. When you’re ready, take a look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for the picture of the front of the cards, and your message.

Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m putting a graphic here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. I put this infographic together for my Simple Candle Spell a couple years back, and thought I’d update it a bit for today. Like I said last week, I’m trying a bit of a new thing in making two versions of the graphics so the size fits Pinterest and Instagram. Here are both, and please feel free to share!

Finally, it’s now time for the big reveal! Here are the fronts of the cards…

…and the messages for each card are…

1. Four of Swords

Take a break. You’ve been “Go Speed Racer Go” for some time now, and it’s understandable that you’re running out of gas. Time to pull over to a rest stop, refuel, and just relax for a bit. You need a little time off your feet (physically and mentally), so you can get back on the road and not worry about breaking down. And yes, this is one of those scary looking cards that tends to get misinterpreted, but I personally call this the “chill out” card. *grin*

Tarot Tidbit: The Four of Swords was last seen, also in the first position, almost three months ago on March 17th, 2020.

2. Seven of Pentacles

Just a little patience. You’re frustrated. You’ve spent a great deal of time and energy on a project/lifestyle change/person, and haven’t seen any results yet. You’ve planted the seed, watered it, given it fertilizer. Now comes the hard part – waiting. Be patient and let the earth, sun, and time do their growing thing, and you’ll see results soon enough. Take a tip from Axel, who said, “All we need is just a little patience.”

Tarot Tidbit: The Seven of Pentacles was last seen, in the third position, just last month on May 12th, 2020.

3. Queen of Wands

Time for center stage. You have a special talent. Now it’s time to celebrate it! Get that spotlight ready, and show the world what you have to offer. Stop imagining what it would be like to create that petition, write that book, or take that personal leap of faith – do it! Because when you, “Take your passion, and make it happen, pictures come alive, you can dance right through your life.

Tarot Tidbit: The Queen of Wands was last seen, in the first position, also just last month on May 5th, 2020.

  1. Interesting that despite the lockdown go slow it can feel very fast and exhausting even in your bubble. These past couple of days I have really craved quiet…just as things are opening up and certain tasks can be done now that we can go 20km from home…
