As always, a quick mention before I get started with my reading for the week of July 24th 2018 – there’s a growing community on Steemit called @steemittarot. If you want to know more, be sure to check out the intro post at the link below.
Oh, and you’re also welcome to check out the feed over at @steemittarot or the hash tag #tarottuesday for some awesome Tarot posts from amazing Steemians. I’ve also started doing a weekly wrap-up post each Wednesday (although some weeks it’s more like Thursday…lol!), so you can find all the Tarot Tuesday offerings in one place.
Speaking of offerings, now it’s time for mine!
Happy Tarot Tuesday!
For those who are curious, here’s a short explanation of how I put these readings together each week –
I use my very old & extremely well-loved Universal Waite Smith Tarot Deck to draw the cards. Then, because the cards are definitely not ready for their closeup, I photograph the cards using my stand-in Radiant Deck. Oh, and yes – it’s a new picture of the back of the cards every week.
Now for the reading. This is how it goes – pick a card that you’re drawn to, then scroll down a bit for the card reveal and my short interp of what to expect in the upcoming week. However, if more than one strikes your fancy, pick two! In fact, I’ve had some people tell me they pick all three cards each week, and use this as a mini past/present/future reading! Go where the vibe takes you! 😊
Did you pick one (or two or three)? Then it’s time to scroll to the bottom for your big reveal!
And just to make sure you didn’t get the reveal before you picked your card, I’m using one of the bazillion quotos (my photography with quotes provided by my readers) I created over the past few years as a kind of spacer. Many thanks to @amariespeaks for inspiring this, since she uses her incredibly cool original word art from her Instagram for people to scroll past on her wicked awesome Tarot Tuesday posts.
This particular quoto I created for a post back in October, 2017 called, Mostly Wordless Wednesday – I want to be magic –
Okay, so now it’s finally time for the big card reveal. Your message for this week is…
Drum roll, please & thank you…
1. Knight of Pentacles
Keep your focus. You were so excited and full of energy when you took the first step on your new journey. Now you feel like you’ve lost your steam, and all you’re doing is trudging along, without getting any closer to your goal. Don’t give up hope! Stick to your plan, stay focused on the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and remember what Amelia Earhart said – “The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.”
2. Six of Cups
Happier times. You’ve discovered, or rediscovered something you love. Maybe a hobby long forgotten, or a person you’re reconnecting with. You now recognize how much you care. This is the start of something beautiful and meaningful – cherish it. This may also be a reminder that if you’re in the middle of some dark times, and you’re longing for the the idyllic days in your past, stop wasting your energy wishing for what’s gone. Don’t look back – focus instead on the positive memories, and use them to inspire new ones.
3. Page of Swords
Storm’s coming. There’s a quote by an unknown author floating around social media that reminds me of this card – “Fate whispers to the warrior, “You cannot withstand the storm. And the warrior whispers back, “I am the storm.” You have the energy, the knowledge, and the drive to get what you want. The biggest challenge comes in harnessing the power of the lightning, before the storm passes. Grab it quick while you can, and “heart to heart you’ll win“!
Extra Tarot tidbit: I thought it was worth mentioning that I also drew the Knight of Pentacles and the Six of Cups together, in the same order (but different spots) on April 10th, 2018. I’m not sure if that’s something of significance to someone, but I figured I’d say something anyway, just in case.
I hope your message resonated for you. You’re always welcome to shout out in the comment section and share your thoughts. Speaking of sharing, if you enjoyed this, please feel free to share. Bright blessings!
