Grey gloomy morning, but the birds are still chirping!

First thing this morning (March 28th, 2018) I went out to start hubby’s work truck, and groused for the billionth time that his windshield was covered in frost. I mean, come on already Mother Nature! Bad enough my internal thermometer is flipping out (thank you, menopause), but this winter-weather-in-spring is getting older than me (and that’s pretty frellin’ old)!

However a short time later, after hubby drove off to work, I noticed there were bunches of birds all around the yard. I listened for a moment, and realized they were singing away like the sun was shining. I ~~hobbled back inside the house like a 90 year old woman because my body is being stupid~~ quickly grabbed my camera and did my best to capture some of the beauty in the gloom.

Here are some pictures

See what I mean by gloomy?

Mr. Tufted Titmouse seems cheerful regardless

Just noticed the trees are starting to bud

Yes, Mr. Titmouse, I see you way up there.

This is why he’s asking – I zoomed out (and added an arrow pointing to where Mr Titmouse is sitting) so you could get a sense of how AWESOME my camera is! 😊

And good morning to you, Mr Bluebird!

Again, behold the AMAZING power of my Nikon, using only the built in zoom (no detachable lens), as it captures Mr Bluebird high in that tree!

“Look, Ma! No hands!”

One of my crows flew past with a quick, “hello!”

Not one of my best, artistic shots, but I wanted to show HOW MUCH SNOW is still on the ground!

Hope you have a happy, if gloomy, day!

Here’s a short video

I combined three short clips (via AC NVERT.COM) of a Tufted Titmouse and Bluebird, as they sat singing at the top of different trees. The quality isn’t great, but I tried to give a sense of their songs. Bonus – at the end, you can hear “my” crow saying good morning as he flew overhead again.

However, since the Steemit associated video platform, DLive, doesn’t support WP embedding yet, I have to drop just a link to the video:

Speaking of, I also posted this on my Steemit blog.

birds are still chirping. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. I will keep going while until you turn green. I can’t believe this is still orange. birds are still chirping. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. 1. I love the sound of the birds chirping, especially in the morning with the Dawn Chorus. It really lets you know how full of life the world is I think ๐Ÿ™‚
