Bugs, Raindrops, and Flowers – Foto Friday May 26 2017

Welcome to another Foto Friday! Bit of a shameless plug before I get started – while I’ve mentioned before that I have some of my photos for sale on Fine Art America, I’ve now recently resurrected my Zazzle store. I put together a last minute calendar for 2017, and I’m slowly adding more photos and products. If there’s a picture I’ve taken that you’d like to see on a particular product, feel free to shout out, and I’ll get it put together in short order.

Now, on to the pictures for this week. These were all taken with my Nikon between May 19th and May 26th, 2017.

Bugs, Raindrops, and Flowers
Tiny white flowers in the grass (that’s pollen in the air, not a dirty lens… *sneezes*)
Bugs, Raindrops, and Flowers
A rain soaked orange and black bug (aka a Reticulated Net-Winged Beetle) grabbing a snack from a white flower (aka a Canada Mayflower)
Bugs, Raindrops, and Flowers
Jack-in-the-pulpit, lit up by the morning sun
Lady Bug enjoying a rare (this week) moment of sunshine

Happy Friday, and have a great weekend!

One last thing before you go

A dear friend suggested I add this to my posts for the next week or so. I discovered last week, much to my surprise, that I’ve been nominated for a blogging award in the 3rd Annual Bloggers Bash Awards! While there’s no chance I can attend the festivities in London (and given my competition, equally as doubtful I’ll have to write an acceptance speech), just the fact my humble little blog in included has me over the moon!

If anyone wants to cast a vote for me, here’s the link (I’m in the category, “Hidden Gem”) –

http://sachablack.co.uk/2017/05/18/2017-annual-bloggers-bash-awards-voting-open-bloggersbash-bloggersbash/

All you need to do is check off your choice, then hit the “VOTE” button – no email or photo ID needed. *grin*

Thanks to everyone who nominated me, and extra thanks to all those who visit, comment, share, and encourage me over at my little corner of the interwebz!

    1. I’m so glad they invoked some cool feelings for you, April. We had a few days last week with temps in the 90s (33C) and had to continuously run our A/C, but this week we’ve had the heat on. I’ll try to send some of our chilly rain your way! πŸ™‚
