Mostly Wordless Monday – Writing Quote by Elizabeth Gilbert

NOTE – If this message is here, it’s because I’m still trying to figure out who to bribe to make my health issues go away. For now, I’ve scheduled some posts to go up on MM, TT, WW, and FF at 8am (EST), and connected WP Publicize to auto-share them to Facebook, Twitter, Google +, and Tumblr. Hoping to catch up properly with everyone soon!

I originally created a version of this back in 2015, to celebrate the beginning of NaNoWriMo. At this point, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to join in this year, but I’ve revamped the graphic nonetheless.

Writing Quote by Elizabeth Gilbert

“Writing is not like dancing or modeling; it’s not something where – if you missed it by age 19 – you’re finished. It’s never too late. Your writing will only get better as you get older and wiser. If you write something beautiful and important, and the right person somehow discovers it, they will clear room for you on the bookshelves of the world – at any age. At least try.” ~ Thoughts on Writing by Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear

Writing Quote by Elizabeth Gilbert. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. Writing Quote by Elizabeth Gilbert. I will keep going while until you turn green. 1. Love it, although I disagree with the dancing point. My dodgy knee and I have just taken up tap dancing. I’m not saying how old I am, but 19 was in the last century. I’m never going to be Ginger Rogers, but I’m having fun.

  2. I love this quote, Traci, and it is so applicable to me since I didn’t start writing until I was over 60 years old. I hope you are doing better and that your health will be restored. Thinking of you and praying for healing.
