MM – Binge watching through recovery

It’s been just over three weeks since I sent hubby a text message saying, “I need help. My knee just gave out. I’m outside with Sid.” During the ensuing longs days on the couch, I turned to binge watching on Netflix to help me pass the time. I am now completely caught up on –

Crazy Ex Girlfriend
Orange is the New Black

Still working through –

Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries
Daredevil
Luke Cage
Lost Girl

On my list to be watched –

The Crown
Black Mirror
Glitch
The Fall

What’s your favorite Netflix binge watching show?

Binge watching

Read the inaugural post which explains
the idea and how you can participate too.”

Binge watching. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. Especially since most of the sentences in this post are not mine. I will keep going while until you turn green. Binge watching. I can’t believe this is still orange. Finally, it has turned. Success! First, this is not a passive voice. 1. Ooh. I started OITNB and got through 2 seasons. I’d like to watch the rest, and you’ve given me some more to binge on. I hope your knee feels better soon!

    1. Loved Dexter! My mother commented on Facebook, and recommended “The Paradise” which I found keeps popping up on lists called, “Shows to watch now that Downton is over. So now you have two things on your list. πŸ˜€

  2. Jessica Jones, how can you have Luke Cage and not Jessica Jones?
Really Jessica Jones– go put that on right now.

Also Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Cheers
Cheers was so funny. I forgot how much I used to laugh at sitcoms.

    Hope you feel better soon!

    1. Excellent question, Journeywoman – thing is, I already binge watched Jessica back when it first came out. *grin* Funny thing too – I was just discuss the show on FB earlier today, and found out that while we might have to wait until 2018 for a new season, we can console ourselves with the fact that it will be one of the first shows ever to have EVERY episode directed by a woman. So stinkin’ excited for it to be out!

Agreed – I loved both Buffy and Cheers. Even managed to visit the namesake bar in Boston about a thousand years ago. Miss those old sitcoms.

  3. Oooh, good list. And so sorry about your knee! I love Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. It’s my favorite home-sick show to binge on. We binged our way through Stranger Things, and we are not bingers together, really. It was that good. I need to watch more Black Mirror. I loved the few I’ve seen. At some point, the sneezing/coughing/puking kids will get me with their germs, and I will need a sick day. And then I will catch up on these shows! πŸ™‚

    1. OMG, I’m counting the moments until the second season of Stranger Things! And, wow, what a great way to put a positive spin on the classroom petri dish thing – LOL!

  4. Netflix has gotten very good with their series. We just started the Crown and I really recommend it. Also been watching Longmire and Chef’s Table.

    1. I forgot about Longmire, Cristy – thanks for reminding me! I’ve been meaning to check it out, so I’ll pop it on my list. I hadn’t heard of Chef’s Table before now, and it looks fascinating – thanks for the tip. πŸ™‚

  5. Orange is the New Black
    Jessica Jones
    House of Cards
    Miss Fischer’s Murder Mysteries
    Bletchley Circle

Right now, I’m catching up with Bones. I have The Crown on my list.

    To name a few. πŸ˜‰

Sorry about your knee. I hope full recovery is just around the bend.
