Bee Quotos for a Mostly Wordless Monday

A week or so ago, I found a pair of excellent Bumblebee-themed quotes in my Facebook newsfeed (HERE and HERE), both from the always magically awesome page, The Nemeton. I commented and thanked Em, the page owner, and told her she inspired me to create my own versions as Quotos. Here they are –

“Fairies with gossamer wings,
Bring forth beauty, grace and joyful things.
Fairies of the earth are caretakers of our soil, water and trees,
They watch over beautiful creatures such as bears, bunnies and bees.
Fairies ask that you breathe in and appreciate the vantage point from which you stand,
Then trod carefully and respectfully with each intentional step you make across this beautiful land.” ~ Molly Friedenfeld

“If bees only gathered nectar from perfect flowers, they wouldn’t be able to make even a single drop of honey.” ~ Matshona Dhliwayo

On the second post, she included her own words, and I felt they deserved a quoto of their own –

“There is such beauty in not being perfect
Imperfections are art
And those of us who are not perfect
Are living canvas
Our lives are painted on our faces

All our joys are in the laugh lines around our eyes
And every time we see those lines
We are reminded of our happiness
Of laughter that has been
And laughter yet to come

So embrace your perfect imperfections
And be the canvas of life” ~ Em, The Nemeton

Oh, and I pinned all the above on my board, “Inspirational Quotes” – feel free to share!

Bee Quotos. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. Especially since most of the sentences in this post are not mine. I will keep going while until you turn green. Bee Quotos. I can’t believe this is still orange. Finally, it has turned. Success! First, this is not a passive voice. 1. Oh, I love the imperfections ones the best! Both the quote and your friend’s poem/quote. I love bees. My gardens are all designed with pollinators in mind, and I am THRILLED when I see tons of honeybees in particular. We have a giant hive in my neighbor’s hollowed tree, and it is such a blessing to have those busy little bees working their magic on all our flowers. I love this theme, beautiful quotos!

    1. Thanks so much, Jess! Sorry I was so late in replying – I somehow missed this WP notification, and just found your comment whilst looking for something else!

  2. I think Em’s words are the most beautiful of them all. What a lovely tribute to the beauty and wonder of imperfection. Your photos, as always, are amazing.
