WW – A Love Spell for the Month of Love

Rabbit, rabbit!

Since today’s Witchy Wednesday takes place on first day of February (aka the month of love), I thought it would be apropos to share a love spell. While there are pagan paths that frown on the use of any kind of spells that affect the will of another, I found one that has a very general, love vibe attracting spell that shouldn’t result in a Craft-ish situation. *wicked grin*

What I also love about this particular spell by Llewellyn author Dallas Jennifer Cobb, is that you can easily tweak it a bit to strengthen your bond of love with just about anything – a relationship, a job, a hobby, or even with yourself.

Here is the graphic I created for the occasion, using a picture I took yesterday, when I recreated this spell. Speaking of love, be sure to check out all the daily #Loveuary posts by the lovely Ritu (aka PhantomGiggler – love that handle!) on her blog, “But I Smile Anyway…

Love Spell. “Whether you’re seeking a mate, want to strengthen existing bonds, or heal love within an important relationship, this spell can contribute to the energy of love between two beings. Place two candles—one white for purity of intention, one red for passion and romance—together on a fireproof surface. A bowl or small plate is good. Anoint the candles with a suitable essential oil—jasmine for emotional healing, rose for growing love, or patchouli for earthy passion—while envisioning the manifestation of love. Light the candles, invoking: I light this match so love burns bright, Glows warm and strong within my life, Passion, commitment, and trust I tether, Love be strengthened as these melt together. As the candles burn and the melting waxes commingle, know that the bonds of love grow.” ~ Dallas Jennifer Cobb. This is not a passive voice. I am writing in an active voice. My SEO will stop telling me how to write. These sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Stop being so controlling. Especially since most of the sentences in this post are not mine. I will keep going until you turn green. I can’t believe this is still orange. Love Spell. Finally, it has turned. Success! Love Spell. This is not a passive voice. I am writing in an active voice.
