Witch Quote Challenge for National Photography Month 2017 – Week 1 Results

Welcome to my Witch Quote Challenge Week 1 results! If you missed my post last Wednesday, this is what I decided to do for National Photography Month

The long and short of it – leave a comment below with a witch related quote, and I’ll pair it with one of my photographs, and post the result the following week. It can be a phrase from your favorite witchy author, a short spell or ritual, or a saying that really resonates with you. If you’re a blogger, be sure to leave a link as well, so I can give you a shout out. If you can’t think of anything this week, no worries – I’ll post results and ask for more quotes each Wednesday in May.

Thank you to everyone who has provided amazing words to pair with my pictures – I’m having so much fun with! I’m also pinning all the graphics on one of my Pinterest boards – please feel free to share them! Be sure to leave your own favorite quote in the comment section, and tune in again next week to see what I came up with.

Now, on to the graphics!

Two from Thora Dorn (check out her “Simply Wicca” Google + community HERE) –

“Dance, dance, where ever you may be,
I am the Lord of the Dance, you see!
I live in you, and you live in Me,
And I lead you all in the Dance, said He!”
~ Lord of the Dance (original lyrics by Sydney Carter, adapted by Spiral Child)

From Duette

“A witch ought never to be frightened in the darkest forest, Granny Weatherwax had once told her, because she should be sure in her soul that the most terrifying thing in the forest was her.” ~ Terry Pratchett, Wintersmith

From Modern Gypsy (check out her blog HERE) –

“Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury, and remedying it.” ~ Professor Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Witch Quote Challenge Week 1. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. Especially since most of the sentences in this post are not mine. I will keep going while until you turn green. Witch Quote Challenge Week 1. I can’t believe this is still orange. Finally, it has turned. Success! First, this is not a passive voice. 1. My favourite post so far! I love the Albus Dumbledore and Terry Pratchett quotes and pictures!

  2. Ok, I’m giving you another one – from Stephen King’s novella Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption.
Some birds are not meant to be caged, that’s all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. So you let them go, or when you open the cage to feed them they somehow fly out past you. And the part of you that knows it was wrong to imprison them in the first place rejoices, but still, the place where you live is that much more drab and empty for their departure.
It should be easier than my last one
