TT – October 4th Free Tarot Card Reading

Welcome to Tarot Tuesday! My monthly free Tarot card readings were so popular, I decided to make them a weekly feature. If you want to catch the next one, be sure to follow my blog, stalk my Facebook, Twitter, or other social media (all my links are in the widget on the left). I shout out just about everywhere when I have a new post up.

On to the reading! Here is a picture of the three cards I drew, from my Universal Waite Smith Tarot Deck. Pick the one that resonates with you, then scroll down for the card reveal and my short interpretation. Oh, and while it probably doesn’t need to be said, I’m saying it anyway – this is for fun, and my messages should never be a substitute for your own good judgement and common sense. In fact, that applies to most things in life – if your gut tells you it’s not right, always listen.

Now, here are the cards. Which one are you drawn to?

October 4th Free Tarot Card Reading, front

1. Queen of Cups

Trust your intuition. Time to listen to your heart, and not your head. Sit, meditate, and reflect on all aspects of the situation, and try to figure out what makes emotional, if not practical, sense. This might also call for a hefty dose of compassion – sometimes simply being supportive for someone is all they need. A listening ear, an open mind, and a bazillion hugs can go a long way towards healing and understanding.

2. Four of Swords

Take a break. You’ve been “Go Speed Racer Go” for some time now, and it’s understandable that you’re running out of gas. Time to pull over to a rest stop, refuel, and just relax for a bit. You need a little time off your feet (physically and mentally), so you can get back on the road and not worry about breaking down. And yes, this is one of those scary looking cards that tends to get misinterpreted, but I personally call this the “chill out” card. *grin*

3. Knight of Wands

Charge ahead! You’re all fired up. It’s time to take action now, and go after this full tilt. You have the courage and the drive – just trust in yourself, and let your confidence inspire others to do the same. Need a little help lighting the flame? Cue up your favorite Roar-type song, give ’em your best Xena warcry, and let the battle begin!

  1. Dear Traci…This is my first time choosing a tarot card (ever, I think…) and I chose the middle one (although I had a yearning for number 3 as well). I keep thinking I am ready to engage the real world again, but maybe the gods are holding me back on purpose. I will take the advice and have a “bunny slippers” day. I look forward to next Tuesday’s reading!

    1. Kim, I’m so happy your message resonated for you! I definitely think a “bunny slippers” day is called for – you’ve been through so much, in such a relatively short period of time. When you are ready to engage again, I have no doubt you’ll be the very embodiment of card #3. Sending tons of positive energy your way! *hugs*

Feel free to shout out!
