Happy Tarot Tuesday! Welcome to another one of my weekly tarot card readings. I started posting these free readings monthly back in late 2015, and switched to weekly in early 2016. They are by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. The reading today is for the week of October 29th 2019.
Another quick life update first – as I mentioned on my Facebook page, on Saturday I re-injured my right thumb (because the Universe apparently decided my life wasn’t interesting enough already…LOL!). It’s not nearly as bad as the first time I hurt it (which turned out to be the starting point of my full blown Essential Tremor), but it has put a bit of a damper on my online activities. But given how it’s been feeling, I should probably be back to 100% in about a day or two (quicker if I behave myself… so yeah, a day or two 😂).
Okay, now back to the Tarot reading – since I do mine are a little different than some other readers on other social media (though it’s definitely not my original idea – in fact, I was inspired by a couple other WordPress bloggers), here’s a quick rundown on how this works…
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!
When you’ve decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Also, don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I should also mention…
Now, here are the backs of the cards (and yep, it’s a brand new picture every week). Take a moment to center yourself and focus. When you’re ready, look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. After that, scroll down to the bottom of my post for your message.
Next, to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m adding a graphic here as a bit of a spacer/spoiler prevention. Since Halloween is in just two days (how did that happen so fast?!), I thought I’d update a couple of my infographics. One is for the celebration of Samhain in the Northern Hemisphere, and one is for Beltane in the Southern Hemisphere.
Finally, it’s time for the big reveal! Here are the fronts of the cards…
…and the messages for each card are…
1. Three of Swords
Yikes! Every time I see this card as my daily, that’s the first word that pops into my head. Today is going to be a day of finding out things you really don’t want to hear, but in the end, they will be extremely healing. Like lancing a wound, you will get some pretty cutting truths, but at least you will finally have the facts, even if they aren’t the ones you want. Let the poison in your heart drain out, then you can begin to heal. Give yourself some time to wallow, listen to your favorite emo song (I usually go for Closure by Chevelle), then take a deep breath and move on.
Tarot Tidbit: The Three of Swords was last spotted, also in the first position, just a few months ago on July 23rd, 2018.
Forgive and move on. You’ve been carrying a heavy burden on your shoulders – you’re feeling guilty about something in your past, or you’re angry at something that happened to you. In either case, it’s time to leave those things in the past, allow your wounds to heal (rather than constantly reopening them), and use your experiences to help others overcome their burdens. In fact, your pain might lead you to an awakening, and a new calling which will put you in a position to be the voice for those who can’t speak. And remember, “when you lose small mind, you free your life.”
Tarot Tidbit: Judgement was last seen, in the third position, just a few months on July 30th, 2019.
3. Ten of Pentacles
Success is at hand. Good things are coming for you – you might find more money coming in (like a raise at work), an improved living situation (even as simple as a new piece of furniture), or an overall positive atmosphere in your home. This card also means that not all wealth is material – having a family (not necessary related by blood) and friends can enrich your life as well, if not better, than money itself. You’ve either found your tribe, or you’re about to, and it will be like coming home.
Tarot Tidbit: The Ten of Pentacles was last spotted, in the first position, just a couple months ago, on August 20th, 2019.
I hope you enjoyed your message for the week of October 29th 2019! Bright blessings to you!
