Tarot Tuesday weekly reading for November 5th 2019

Happy Tarot Tuesday! Welcome to another one of my weekly tarot card readings. I started posting these free readings monthly back in late 2015, and switched to weekly in early 2016. They are by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. The reading today is for the week of November 5th 2019.

Yet another quick life update first – as some of you noticed, I’ve been relatively quiet across my social media in recent days. I mentioned last week that I had re-injured my right thumb, but it would probably feel better in a day or two if I behaved. Needless to say, I tried doing too much too soon, and aggravated it further later that same day. 😜

Luckily, after staying mostly offline since the beginning of the month, and actually behaving, I think I can finally declare that it’s completely better now. And a quick thank you to the amazeballs author Harley Stone for writing the super sexy Dead President’s Motorcycle Club series – it was just the distraction I needed while I healed! If you like your romance novels wicked smart and totally NSFW, be sure to check out her books, and follow her on Facebook and Twitter.

Okay, now back to the Tarot reading – since I do mine are a little different than some other readers on other social media (though it’s definitely not my original idea – in fact, I was inspired by a couple other WordPress bloggers), here’s a quick rundown on how this works…

First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!

When you’ve decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.

Also, don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊

I should also mention…

Now, here are the backs of the cards (and yep, it’s a brand new picture every week). Take a moment to center yourself and focus. When you’re ready, look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. After that, scroll down to the bottom of my post for your message.

Next, to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m adding a graphic here as a bit of a spacer/spoiler prevention. I created this quoto for a Tarot Tuesday last November, and with the Full Mourning Moon coming up next week, it seemed like a good time to share it again.

Finally, it’s time for the big reveal! Here are the fronts of the cards…

…and the messages for each card are…

1. Page of Cups

The Look of Love. I think of this as the Romeo card – time to fall in love, either with a person, a story idea, a creative project, or something of that sort. You may also be receiving a message of love from someone – maybe not as overt as flowers and chocolate, but something to show they care. It could be as simple as a bringing you a fresh cup of coffee, or sharing a Facebook meme, that shows they are thinking of you. Artistically, it’s that moment of sudden inspiration, when you see your project in a new light, or a bizarre-yet-brilliant idea presents itself – go with it.

Tarot Tidbit: The last time we saw the Page of Cups was just a few months ago, on August 13th, 2019, when it was in the second position.

2. The World

Journey’s End. You’ve been moving towards a goal, and after all your steps (and missteps), you’ve finally reached your destination. Don’t believe it? Think about where you were this time last year, and see how far you’ve come. This can also mean a sudden epiphany about your place in the grand scheme of things, and a desire to connect to a greater community. In either case, it’s time to celebrate, while also getting ready for your next journey (just like Seneca the Younger, and the song both say, “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end”).

Tarot Tidbit: The World was last seen back at the beginning of the year, specifically on January 22nd, 2019, where it was in the third position.

3. Eight of Wands

Fly like the wind. Nothing is holding you back now! You got your bow ready by laying the groundwork, and now you’re shooting like an arrow through the sky towards your goal. Things will happen very fast, but try to remember all the crazy busyness is leading you in a very positive direction. Remember what Merida (who knows a thing or two about arrows) said – “There are those who say fate is something beyond our command. That destiny is not our own, but I know better. Our fate lives within us. You only have to be brave enough to see it.” Stay focused on the bullseye, and you’ll hit your target in no time flat!

Tarot Tidbit: The Eight of Wands hasn’t been seen in a Tarot Tuesday post in over a year! The last time was September 4th, 2018, where it was in the first position.
