Tarot Tuesday reading for the week of March 2nd 2021

Welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday posts! I started doing these free readings monthly back in late 2015, then switched to every week in early 2016. They’re by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today’s reading is for the week of March 2nd 2021.

Yes, I’m posting this a bit earlier than my normal time of 8am-ish EST – like, almost eight hours earlier! It’s because once again, Tuesday means it’s time for another @hivechat on Twitter and given the timing of it (7am EST) I decided to schedule this post to go out just after midnight so my Hive friends would get more of a heads-up. This week the chat is being hosted by the mucho macho Man Cave via their Twitter account so be sure to give them a follow and keep an eye on the Twitter hash tag to join the discussion.

And now with that said, it’s time to start the reading. The setup of how I do these was not my original idea – I was actually inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them (usually posting the card backs first, then the messages at a later time), here’s a quick breakdown on how this works…

First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like!

When you’ve decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.

Also, don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊

I would also like to mention…

disclaimer

Now here are the backs of the cards for this week. Take a moment to clear your mind, inhale and exhale deeply, center yourself – whatever you need to do to focus. When you’re ready, take a look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for the picture of the front of the cards, and your message.

Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m putting some of my infographics here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. I was scrolling through some old files over the weekend, and happened to see this infographic I created as a companion piece for a guest blog from close to four years ago, and I don’t think I’ve shared it more than once or twice since! The blog was called Guest Post From The Smart Witch – Pendulum Dowsing, written by The Smart Witch (who also has a wicked cool Facebook community) and here is the graphic…

Now it’s time for the big reveal! Here are the fronts of the cards…

…and the messages for each card are…

1. Knight of Pentacles

Keep your focus. You were so excited and full of energy when you took the first step on your new journey. Now you feel like you’ve lost your steam, and all you’re doing is trudging along, without getting any closer to your goal. Don’t give up hope! Stick to your plan, stay focused on the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and remember what Amelia Earhart said – “The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.”

Tarot Tidbit: After hanging out in the first position a couple of times (almost) in a row, The Knight of Pentacles hasn’t been seen in close to two years! The last time was on May 28th, 2019, and the aforementioned other time was on May 14th, 2019. I find that especially interesting since the Knight has been my daily draw at least 3 times so far this year.

2. The Magician

You can create it. You’re powerful. Whatever the problem or issue is that you’ve been having, you have the the tools to solve it right at your fingertips. Don’t give away your power – claim it, use it, and you will be unstoppable. And while I know it might seem like a strange comparison, whenever I get this card, it reminds me to invoke my inner Dark Willow. Not in an “bringing about the Apocalypse out of sheer grief” kind of way – more of a “channeling the magic and tapping into your inner badass.”

Tarot Tidbit: The Magician had also been on a bit of a hiatus until it last appeared, in the third position, back on November 3rd 2020. Prior to that, it hadn’t shown up since October 1st, 2019 and the time before was well over a year as well (May 8th, 2018).

3. Nine of Pentacles

Retreat from the world. You deserve a break today, so get up and get away, to … nope, not that place. Unless, of course, you go grab a bag of Mickey D’s and bring it someplace to enjoy in solitude because up next on the menu is, “Escape, with a side of pampering.” It can be as fancy as a day of mani pedis and wine, or as simple as a quiet room with a great book (the chocolate and coffee go without saying). Indulge, indulge, indulge – plenty of time for reality tomorrow.

Tarot Tidbit: The Nine of Pentacles last seen, also in the third position, back during the summer on July 21st, 2020. Prior to that, it was also in the third position back on May 19th, 2020.

I hope you enjoyed your message for the week of March 2nd 2021! Bright blessings to you!
