Tarot Tuesday reading for the week of April 27th 2021

Welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday posts! I started doing these free readings monthly back in November 2015, then switched to every week almost a year later in September 2016. They’re by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today’s reading is for the week of April 27th 2021.

I know I’ve already said this a few times before, but I can’t believe we’re already almost at the end of NaBloPoMo & HiveBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month and the Hive equivalent)! After today’s post, I’ll only have three more to go to “cross the finish line” officially, but I’ll probably keep going through the weekend so I can score another “Weekly Author” badge. However, I’ve been so busy making sure I got a post out each day that I didn’t have time to respond to all my replies both on my WordPress and Hive blogs. I’m toying with a followup initiate called something like, “NaBloReplyMo” where we get caught up on answering everyone…lol

Okay, now for the reading – the setup of how I do these was not my original idea. I was actually inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them (usually posting the card backs first, then the messages at a later time), here’s a quick breakdown on how this works…

First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like!

When you’ve decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.

Also, don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊

I would also like to mention…

disclaimer

Now here are the backs of the cards for this week. Take a moment to clear your mind, inhale and exhale deeply, center yourself – whatever you need to do to focus. When you’re ready, take a look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for the picture of the front of the cards, and your message.

Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don’t see the picture of the front of the cards before you’ve made your choice, I’m putting some of my infographics here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. I did this last month, a few days after the Full Libra Moon, and thought I’d do it again, in honor of last night’s Full Pink Supermoon. So here are a few moon-themed quotos I’ve put together over the years.

Now it’s time for the big reveal! Here are the fronts of the cards…

…and the messages for each card are…

1. Four of Cups

Rethink your situation. You’re not happy with the way things are. In fact, you’re so focused on the things you wish you had, that you don’t see the very thing you want being offered to you. Take a step back and think about how you’re viewing the situation – stop sulking about what could have been, or what you might have had, and start appreciating what is, and the blessings you might not even recognize. And while this applies to all situations in your life, not just romantic ones, I think Survivor sums it up nicely with, “I was living for a dream, loving for a moment. Taking on the world, that was just my style. Now I look into your eyes, I can see forever. The search is over, you were with me all the while.

Tarot Tidbit: The Four of Cups was last seen, in the second position, towards the end of last year, on December 8th, 2020. And while it’s previous appearance was only a few months before (on September 29th, 2020) before that, it hadn’t been seen since Christmas Day, December 25th 2018!

2. The Magician

You can create it. You’re powerful. Whatever the problem or issue is that you’ve been having, you have the the tools to solve it right at your fingertips. Don’t give away your power – claim it, use it, and you will be unstoppable. And while I know it might seem like a strange comparison, whenever I get this card, it reminds me to invoke my inner Dark Willow. Not in an “bringing about the Apocalypse out of sheer grief” kind of way – more of a “channeling the magic and tapping into your inner badass.”

Tarot Tidbit: The Magician was last spotted, in the third position, last month on March 9th, 2021. It also happened to be one of those few draws in my time doing Tarot Tuesdays, that all three cards were Major Arcana.

3. Ten of Wands

The Burden. This card tends to show up for me when I’ve gotten caught in, “Fine, I’ll do it myself” mode. You know, when you think you need to do absolutely everything yourself, because no one else can do it the right way? And what happens when you do everything yourself? Yep, you get exhausted. All your creative juices are drying up. It’s time to put down the burden, and let someone else carry it for a while – even small, simple things, once delegated, will help you regain your spark. As the saying goes, “a burden shared is a burden halved.”

Tarot Tidbit: The Ten of Wands hasn’t been seen in close to a year! The last time it was in the first position, back on June 16th, 2020.

I hope you enjoyed your message for the week of April 27th 2021! Bright blessings to you!
