Tarot Tuesday for the week of April 30 2019 (#SteemBloPoMo Day 30)

Happy Tarot Tuesday & welcome to another one of my Tarot Tuesday readings! This one is for the week of April 30 2019.

It’s also the last day of #SteemBloPoMo, which was a challenge on the Steem blockchain I participated in this month (click HERE for more information). So this post means I’ve officially won! I plan to do a followup post later in the week, but for now, I’ll enjoy the feeling of having 30 new posts published this month. Maybe I should come up with some sort of congratulatory video like they have for NaNoWriMo winners… hmm… 😂

At any rate, time to talk Tarot! If this is the first time you’ve dropped by one of my Tarot Tuesday posts, it goes something like this –

First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!

After you’ve decided on your card or cards, you scroll down the page for photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.

Oh, and don’t be worried if you don’t happen to see this on the exact day. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊

I also would like to mention…

Time to get started! Here’s a photo of the backs of the cards (and for the record, I take a new one each week). Look at the photo for a moment, focus, then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Afterwards, scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.

Just to make sure you don’t see the card faces before you’ve made your choice, here’s a graphic to act as a bit of spoiler space prevention. Since tomorrow is Beltane, I decided to update a graphic I created a couple years ago for this occasion.

Now it’s time for your message. Here’s the photo of the front of the cards…

…and my interpretations for each one is…

1. Eight of Swords

Time to get moving. You’re stuck. None of the choices available to you seem right, so you’ve stopped moving forward. You’re afraid that if you make the wrong one, you’ll get hurt. However if you stay put, the choices only get worse. Stop overthinking and take a step – yes, there might be a little owie, but soon you’ll be back on the right track, and the pain will be behind you. As the saying (which makes me sentimental for my hometown of Gloucester, MA) goes, it’s time to fish or cut bait.

Tarot Tidbit: The Eight of Swords was seen, also in the first position, on December 4th, 2018.

2. The Chariot

Find your middle ground. As Mr Miyagi said, “Better learn balance. Balance is key. Balance good, karate good. Everything good. Balance bad, better pack up, go home. Understand?” Think of the two horses in the card as being negative and positive emotions – if you focus solely on urging one ahead to win the race, you’ll soon be off-balance and your carriage will overturn. Keep a tight and balanced hold on your reins, harness your power, and gallop ahead to victory.

Tarot Tidbit: The Chariot was last seen, just a few weeks ago but in the first position, on April 2nd 2019.

3. Queen of Cups

Trust your intuition. Time to listen to your heart, and not your head. Sit, meditate, and reflect on all aspects of the situation, and try to figure out what makes emotional, if not practical, sense. This might also call for a hefty dose of compassion – sometimes simply being supportive for someone is all they need. Channeling your inner Miss Honey and using a listening ear, an open mind, and a bazillion hugs can go a long way towards healing and understanding.

Tarot Tidbit: Queen of Cups was last seen, in the second position, back on November 20th 2018.

I hope your message resonated for you this week, and brightest of blessings to you!

Thanks for stopping by!
