Quote Challenge for National Photography Month 2017 – Week 1 Results

Welcome to my Quote Challenge Week 1 results! If you missed my post last Monday, this is what I decided to do for National Photography Month

Here’s my challenge, and I’ll need your help, dear readers – please leave me one of your favorite quotes in the comment section below, and I’ll pair it with a picture I’ve taken. If you’re a blogger, be sure to leave a link as well, so I can give you a shout out. If you can’t think of anything this week, no worries – I’ll post results and ask for more quotes each Monday in May.

Thank you to everyone who has provided amazing words to pair with my pictures – I love doing this! I’m also pinning all the graphics on one of my Pinterest boards – please feel free to share them! Be sure to leave your own favorite quote in the comment section, and tune in again next week to see what I came up with.

Now, on to the graphics!

Quote Challenge Week 1. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. Especially since most of the sentences in this post are not mine. I will keep going while until you turn green. Quote Challenge Week 1. I can’t believe this is still orange. Finally, it has turned. Success! First, this is not a passive voice. 2. Here’s a quote: Emily Dickenson- “Hope” is the thing with feathers –
That perches in the soul –
And sings the tune without the words –
And never stops – at all -“

    1. Awesome choice, Bee! I actually did a graphic of the full poem a year or two ago, but it’s time to update it. Thanks for a great contribution!

    1. Thanks, Mel! One of these days (after that lottery ticket finally hits it big) I’m hoping to get a specific macro lens – I love doing these close ups!

  3. These are beautiful! I love the geese, so much. So many great quotes here. Love the Conan O’Brien one. Really, not a one I don’t love! Gorgeous close-up shots.

    1. Yay! So glad you liked the geese for your contribution – thanks again for being a part of this, Jess! And thanks also for the kind words! <3

  4. Great photos Traci! This is one of my favourites. “Always do what you are afraid to do” by Ralph Waldo Emerson.

  5. This is a great idea! Love the quotes too, some of my favourites in there. Anything Albert Einstein says always gets my attention. x

  6. What a lovely post! One of of my favourite quotes is –
In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.
    Robert Frost

  7. Love these Traci. So sorry I missed this the first time round. I’m going to have to think of a quote. Unless you use my one about cake haha x
