My shots at the end of the Super Blood Moon Eclipse

In yesterday’s post, I mentioned that I was pretty certain I wouldn’t be able to take pictures of the Super Blood Moon Eclipse.

Then last night, hubby & I watched (from our nice warm couch) the New England Patriots win the AFC championship.

Is it any surprise that a few hours later, the clouds parted long enough for me to see the last bit of the eclipse? 😊

The first shot I took at 1:49am through our front door. Technically speaking, it’s not a great shot, but I loved how our Christmas lights reflecting off the glass colored the result. And after I saw that there was still a tiny bit of the bottom right of the moon covered in shadow, I ran to get my tripod, bundled up against the 3F/-16C temps, and stepped on the front porch for almost exactly two minutes.

These are the best of the bunch – hope you enjoy!
