Moon Monday – 12 Last Quarter Moons

Happy Moon Monday! What the hezmana is that, you say? Well, for the past month and a half or so, I’ve been sharing some of my moon pictures, and it’s always on Mondays! Today, I’m sharing shots of 12 Last Quarter Moons, give or take a day or few.

What exactly is a third/last quarter moon? According to Space.com

Last quarter: The moon has moved another quarter of the way around Earth, to the third quarter position. The sun’s light is now shining on the other half of the visible face of the moon.

Also, all of these shots were taken with my Nikon (which I talk about in this post) whilst making use of my handy dandy tripod, mostly in our Durham New Hampshire yard, or places nearby.
