MM – Picture day, birds

It seemed like such an easy thing to do. Pick a theme for each of the four Mondays in May (National Photography Month), then post seven pictures for each theme (the arbitrary goal I set for myself). I had about two weeks to prepare. The themes were easy – birds, my late father (his birthday is the second Monday of the month), sun & moon, and trees. Needless to say, I left the actual picture choosing until today, so… a bajillion hours later, I’ve finally narrowed it down to ten of my least blurry, most interesting shots. But there’s still daylight left…

Before I get to my amateur photos, I want to take a moment and direct you to some of my favorite professional photogs. I plan to post this set of links, plus any others I happen upon, every Monday along with my, less-than-professional but still fun to take, snaps.

Here they are, in no particular order –

  1. These are great! πŸ™‚ I miss having a bird feeder on the balcony (makes too much mess on the balcony below ours); love seeing — and hearing about — your avian adventures!
