After watching the Patriots Superbowl LI Win, I’m still trying to wrap my brain around the wicked awesomeness of it all. Here’s a rundown, in no particular order of my five favorite things from last night –

1. Julian Edelman’s catch

2. James White’s touchdown

3. Bill Belichick’s smile

Patriots Superbowl LI Win. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. Especially since most of the sentences in this post are not mine. I will keep going while until you turn green. Patriots Superbowl LI Win. I can’t believe this is still orange. Finally, it has turned. Success! First, this is not a passive voice. 1. Ha Gisele Bündchen’s dance is tremendous! It looks so exciting, makes me wish I got sport – I think you have to be raised in a sport-loving family though to appreciate it. I have a mental blindspot on anything involving a ball… I was punished for not being able to catch at school (bad eyesight) and it stayed with me…

    1. Ugh, that’s awful DS. It definitely helps having people around you that also love the experience (be it sports, opera, robot competitions…LOL). I think it’s also legally required to love Boston sports if you live in New England. 😀

    1. They played a hell of a game for the first three quarters, JW. Hubby and I had already resigned ourselves to the loss, and said that if anything, at least your guys weren’t playing dirty, and deserved the W. Falcons fans should be very proud of their team!

  2. That catch was incredible. I will not lie, I don’t watch football except for the SuperBowl (and then I usually watch it halfheartedly), but I was really into this game. And I rooted for the Falcons, because I really wanted them to win their first SuperBowl and they did so very well for so long… but the Patriots did a great job in the end so I guess I’m not too grumbly for a nonfan! 🙂 Fun highlights!

    1. Like I said to JW above, if the Falcons had won, I’d have a hard time being grumbly about it myself, because they did play so well all season and post season. Just glad I don’t have to put that to the test. 😀 Glad you enjoyed them, Jess! 🙂

  3. I’m going to whisper this: I didn’t watch the game. I’ve never actually seen a football game, though I once went to a Super Bowl party. I spent most of the night in the other room. I never learned the rules of football, so I don’t know what’s happening on the screen. But you made it look awesome 🙂
