Happy Turkey Birthday, Mom!

Happy Turkey Birthday, Mom!

Our Nor’easter delayed Thanksgiving feast is close to being done, and the house smells amazing. Today also happens to be my mother’s birthday – we brought her up from Massachusetts this past Tuesday for a combined Thanksgiving and birthday visit, never imagining both celebrations would end up being the same day. I’ve already posted some Throwback Thursday Thanksgiving pictures, so I figured I could get away with sharing some childhood photos of my mother.

(Mom – please don’t yell at me for sharing these! *grin* )

We love you Mom, and you’ve always been beautiful, then and now!

Happy Turkey Birthday, Mom!

Turkey Birthday. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. Especially since most of the sentences in this post are not mine. I will keep going while until you turn green. Binge watching. I can’t believe this is still orange. Finally, it has turned. Success! First, this is not a passive voice. 1. Thanks, Hayley! It’s funny – in my hometown, almost everyone who saw me (since it seemed like EVERYBODY knew my dad) pegged me as Bill’s daughter. But looking at my mom’s pictures when she was my current age or younger, and I see so much of myself in her.

      1. It is funny how different people perceive it. Around here everyone thinks my daughter looks like my husband, but in my hometown they all think she looks me! I like to think the people who knew me as a kid, know best

  1. How lovely those photos are, Traci, I love the one of your mum in her nurse’s uniform Your mum certainly was a beautiful child and a beautiful woman too. I hope she had a lovely birthday πŸ™‚
