Full Honey Moon in Capricorn, June 28th, 2018

On Thursday June 28th, the Honey Moon in Capricorn arrives in my time zone. However, given the timing of it, some places see it on the 27th, so be sure to check for your local time HERE.

According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, this June moon is also the “Lowest Moon” which means…

…even at its highest at around 1 A.M., the Moon will only stand about ¼ of the way up the sky. For the lowest full Moon, “Honey Moon” makes sense because the low elevation plus summer’s typically humid atmosphere may color it amber.

Because my astrology skills are somewhat lacking (I took an amazing intro class years ago, but it melted my brain!), I’ve turned to the interwebz to see what this means for us astrologically. Here’s a snippet from an article over at Forever Conscious by Tanaaz, called “Intuitive Astrology: June Full Moon 2018” –

The June Full Moon falls on the 27-28th in the earth sign of Capricorn. Grounded, stable, and hard working are key words for this Full Moon, and this is exactly what we will need to embrace under its energy.

Capricorn is represented by the mountain goat. If you have ever seen a mountain goat, you would know that it has the ability to climb high and perch itself on precarious rock ledges, all while keeping perfect balance.

This is a good analogy for the energy of Capricorn. It is a reliable and focused-driven sign that is very hard to throw off balance. Capricorn energy is all about staying grounded and rooted in who you are, so you can aim high and reach the top of your very own mountain.

This Full Moon is going to bathe all of us in the strong willed, determined, Capricorn energy so we can find our strength and our determination to keep going. We are going to be reminded of our ability to keep climbing even when life gets tough.
