Free Tarot Card Reading for the Week of September 12th 2017

QUICK NOTEThank you all again for your thoughts, prayers, and good juju during this lovely adventure of mine. I got excellent news last week – my pathology report was NEGATIVE FOR CANCER! I’m still swollen and sore, but I expect to be back on track very soon.

Welcome to Tarot Tuesday for the week of September 12th! My monthly free Tarot card readings were so popular, I decided to make them a weekly feature. If you want to be sure to catch the next one, you can follow my blog on WordPress or Bloglovin’, stalk my Facebook, Twitter, or other social media (all my links are in the widget on the left), or simply bookmark this site and set an alarm on your phone for Tuesdays at 8am EST.

For those wondering, I use my Universal Waite Smith Tarot Deck to draw the cards, but since it’s so well loved (I’ve owned it for a bazillion years), I then substitute my Radiant Deck for the photographs. Also, while it probably doesn’t need to be said, I’m saying it anyway – this is for fun, and my messages should never be a substitute for your own good judgement and common sense. In fact, that applies to most things in life – if your gut tells you it’s not right, always listen.

Now, on to the reading! Pick the card (or cards) that you’re drawn to, then scroll down to the bottom of this post for the card reveal and my short interpretation of what to expect in the upcoming week.

Free Tarot Card Reading for the Week of September 12th 2017, Front

1. Queen of Swords

Cold hard truth. You’re getting caught up in emotions and speculation, so it’s no wonder you can’t make a decision. Sometimes you need to take a step back to gain some perspective. Try the “just the facts ma’am” approach – look at the situation from a practical, factual point of view, and see if the answer, as unappealing as it might be, appears. When this card shows up, I ask myself, “WWSD (what would Scully do?)” and remind myself that “Sometimes looking for extreme possibilities makes you blind to the probable explanation right in front of you.

2. Page of Pentacles

Light bulb moment. You’ve had a sudden inspiration or revelation, and now you’re eager to put things in motion. Go for it! This is a great time to work on manifesting those dreams. Pay close attention to what the Page is doing in this card, though – instead of racing forward, take careful, measured steps, and remember to keep your eyes on the prize and your feet firmly planted on the ground. Set goals, learn the necessary skills, and let common sense be your guide. Slow and steady wins the race!

1. Ten of Cups

The Rainbow Connection. Sometimes it’s hard to remember the good things in our lives, because we spend so much time struggling to overcome the bad. This card is a good reminder that our happiness doesn’t come from money, it comes from within (although if anyone ever offers me a winning lottery ticket, I wouldn’t refuse – LOL!). Take a closer look at the people in this card – they’re wearing simple clothes, have a simple home, and they’re as blissed out as they come. Stop looking outside of yourself for your happiness, and start focusing on being happy. Listen to that little voice in your head, telling you that your dreams can become a reality. Like the song says about that voice – I’ve heard it too many times to ignore it / It’s something that I’m supposed to be /Someday we’ll find it, the rainbow connection, the lovers, the dreamers and me.”

So, what did you think of your message? Please be sure to shout out in the comment section, and let me know what you thought. And, as is the case with all my posts, if you enjoyed it, please feel free to share. Bright blessings!
