Free Tarot Card Reading for the Week of December 19th 2017

Welcome to Tarot Tuesday for the week of December 19th! My monthly free Tarot card readings were so popular, I decided to make them a weekly feature. If you want to be sure to catch the next one, you can follow my blog on WordPress or Bloglovin’, stalk my Facebook, Twitter, or other social media (all my links are in the widget on the left), or simply bookmark this site and set an alarm on your phone for Tuesdays at 8am EST.

For those wondering, I use my Universal Waite Smith Tarot Deck to draw the cards, but since it’s so well loved (I’ve owned it for a bazillion years), I then substitute my Radiant Deck for the photographs. And for the record, I take a new picture of the card backs every week – first, I do the cards face up, then flip them over and take a snap of the back. I add the numbers and such with Canva, and use the picture from the top of the post to create the blog graphic.

Also, while it probably doesn’t need to be said, I’m saying it anyway – this is for fun, and my messages should never be a substitute for your own good judgement and common sense. In fact, that applies to most things in life – if your gut tells you it’s not right, always listen.

Now, on to the reading! Pick the card (or cards) that you’re drawn to, then scroll down to the bottom of this post for the card reveal and my short interpretation of what to expect in the upcoming week.

December 19th 2017 Tarot, Front

1. Two of Wands

Stay focused. You’ve put your plan into action, and you’re beginning to see all the possibilities before you. However, you might be tempted at this point to try a short cut in the hopes of speeding up the process. While it might pay off, sometimes it’s better to stand fast and remind yourself of what you’re working towards while continuing the slow and steady path to success. Take a moment to look at the big picture, and know that your ships are on their way in, and soon you’ll be the king of the world!

2. Six of Cups

Happier times. You’ve discovered, or rediscovered something you love. Maybe a hobby long forgotten, or a person you’re reconnecting with. You now recognize how much you care. This is the start of something beautiful and meaningful – cherish it. This may also be a reminder that if you’re in the middle of some dark times, and you’re longing for the the idyllic days in your past, stop wasting your energy wishing for what’s gone. Don’t look back – focus instead on the positive memories, and use them to inspire new ones.

3. Two of Cups

Makes the world go ’round. While it’s easy to see this is a card about love, what’s not so obvious is that it also represents other relationships, not just the romantic one between two (or more) people. This could be a recent furry/feathered addition to the family, a passion for a creative process (writing, painting, knitting), or even something as simple as discovering a new favorite show to binge-watch (like Farscape or Firefly). It’s also a reminder that the first, most important love we should have is for ourselves. As the late, great Lucille Ball once said, “Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.”

December 19th 2017 Tarot. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. I will keep going while until you turn green. I can’t believe this is still orange. Finally, it has turned. Success! December 19th 2017 Tarot. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write.
