Free Tarot Card Reading for the Week of April 4 2017

Welcome to Tarot Tuesday for the week of April 4 2017! My monthly free Tarot card readings were so popular, I decided to make them a weekly feature. If you want to catch the next one, be sure to follow my blog, stalk my Facebook, Twitter, or other social media (all my links are in the widget on the left). I shout out just about everywhere when I have a new post up.

For those wondering, I use my Universal Waite Smith Tarot Deck to draw the cards, but since it’s so well loved (I’ve owned it for a bazillion years), I then substitute my Radiant Deck for the photographs. Also, while it probably doesn’t need to be said, I’m saying it anyway – this is for fun, and my messages should never be a substitute for your own good judgement and common sense. In fact, that applies to most things in life – if your gut tells you it’s not right, always listen.

Oh, and since so many people have asked – yes, it’s absolutely okay (and wicked awesome!) to share this post! I have “Share this” buttons at the bottom of all my posts, and you’re welcome to post this on your wall, tweet, pin, stumble, tumble, or otherwise share this link to your social media of choice.

Now, on to the reading! Here’s a picture of the three I drew for today. Pick the card (or cards) that you’re drawn to, then scroll down to the bottom of this post for the card reveal and my short interpretation of what to expect in the upcoming week.

April 4 2017 Tarot, Front

1. Eight of Cups

A new journey. Change can be scary. But sometimes you need to just walk away from it all, and start down a different path. Time to get out of your comfort zone, and follow your gut instinct that there’s something better and more fulfilling out there. This can also mean that you feel you’ve given something (like a job, relationship, or creative endeavor) everything you’ve got, and you haven’t gotten anything in return. It’s okay to say, enough’s enough, leave it behind, and look for something new that speaks to your soul.

2. Three of Wands

Expand your horizons. You’ve done the preliminary leg work, and soon you will see the fruits of your labors. However, now that you’ve taken those steps, don’t assume this is it – there could still be other opportunities out there. Take a moment to look at the bigger picture. Keep an open mind, stay aware, and be confident. If other possibilities present themselves, go for it!

3. Knight of Wands

Charge ahead! You’re all fired up. It’s time to take action now, and go after this full tilt. You have the courage and the drive – just trust in yourself, and let your confidence inspire others to do the same. Need a little help lighting the flame? Cue up your favorite Roar-type song, give ’em your best Xena warcry, and let the battle begin!

  1. #1, Eight of Cups! A New Journey; that sounds perfect! I love the number, “44”; I woke up at looked at the clock today and it was, “4:44 a.m.” It’s also 4/4 so I am feeling great after reading my tarot card today! Thank you so much, Traci! Cher xo

  2. Traci, I love that you do these weekly readings. I’ve only recently found them, but look forward to them each week.

8 of cups and 3 of wands. Message received. Time to get to work.

    1. I’m so glad you found your way here, Cristy! I’ve met so many awesome bloggers through Mel’s #MicroblogMondays. Best of luck to you as you roll up your sleeves!

  3. Three of Wands! I know it’s just for fun, but this is the perfect one for me. I go to my first pitch conference to try and interest agents in my first novel this week, and I’m ready (and a touch nervous). Thanks, Traci!

    1. That’s wicked awesome, Angela – you’re very welcome! I’ll be sending tons of good energy your way this week – bet you’re going to WOW them! Be sure to keep me posted – can’t wait to say I know a NYT best selling author! 😀

  4. #1 Eight of cups…New journey ahead, I would say yes. This as I’m being pushed to take on a new job as in promotion. I’ve been real unsure for yes I’m in my comfort zone in my current position. Only thing it says to follow gut instincts…while being pushed to this promotion by my current boss n parents, my gut says NO. But it could be they see the potential in me to succeed that I’m having problems finding right at this moment.

    1. I think that sounds exactly right, ShieldMaiden – in this case, while it might seem like your gut is telling you no, it might be your insecurities confusing the situation. If your boss and parents think you’re capable of doing it (and it certainly seems that way), then it might be worth taking the chance. Regardless of your choice, I wish you the brightest blessings in your decision!

Feel free to shout out!
