Flashback Friday Fotos – 9 family photos featuring my mother’s side of the family (#SteemBloPoMo Day 33)

A couple of weeks ago, I did a Throwback Thursday Easter post, and thought I should really try each week to scan and post some of the bazillion family photos I have.

Last week I did some random shots from yesteryear that had some pictures of my grandfather and a cousin from my mother’s side (as well as some candid shots from our wedding in ’89). For this week, I decided to grab a handful from an entirely different bankers box full of photos.

I ended up with even more pictures of Grampy and cousin Scot… 😂

Since I’m trying to not overthink the process (which usually happens when I try to pick which photos to use), I just went ahead and scanned (then cropped, resized, cleaned up, etc.) them. So here are 9 (of one hundred gazillion) family photos, featuring my mom’s side of the family.

The date on the edge of this photo said April 1970, and that sounds about right. The little plastic vanity figures into a lot of my childhood memories at my grandparents house.

 
 
Heather, my younger sister, and I used to spend hours playing all sorts of games that somehow involved it.
