FF – I heart these Buckley and Kennedy quotes

I’ve enjoyed showcasing some of my favorite photographers during National Photography Month, and I plan to do it again next May. I can imagine how many eye-candy creators I’ll be featuring, now that I have a year to plan! For my last photo post, I choose two pictures – one of Niles Beach in Gloucester, and the other of a Shagbark Hickory tree in my backyard. They are paired with quotes are from two men – one (JFK) who was born today in 1917, and the other (Jeff Buckley) who tragically passed this day in 1997.

Kennedy quote

Buckley quote

“We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch – we are going back from whence we came.” ~ John. F. Kennedy “Relentless, endless joy peaking into tears, resting in calmness, a simmering beauty. If you let yourself listen with the whole of yourself, you will have the pure feeling of flight while firmly rooted to the ground. Your soul can fly outward stringed to your ribcage like a shimmering kite in the shape of an open hand. Be still and listen to the evidence of your own holiness.” ~ Jeff Buckley
