Revisiting the Enchanting Coffee Spell from Llewellyn

Rabbit, rabbit! *grin*

I originally wrote this post back in July, and thought it would be a good time to revisit it on this dank, dreary, first day of March. Especially since I foresee many cups of coffee in my future today.

Most mornings, I’m lucky my brain works well enough to find the kitchen, let alone managing something like enchanting coffee. However, I found this spell over at Llewellyn website, and it looks easy enough even for me. I plan to make this a daily thing, as part of my resolve to bring more magic into my everyday life.

Enchant Your Morning Coffee/Tea

Enchanting Coffee spell

“Wake up! Sometimes it is difficult to get out of bed without that morning cuppa coffee or tea. Hey, there’s nothing wrong with that! Why not add a little magical boost to your drink when you make it? This can help focus your energy for the day and is especially beneficial because water itself has been scientifically proven to change its molecular structure based on thought and intention directed to it. Check out the studies of Dr. Masaru Emoto for more on this!

Cup your hands to the prepared cup of coffee or tea. Visualize it glowing with the colors of the rainbow; first with red, followed by orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, and finally white. Put your nose to the cup and inhale deeply, bringing to mind the fields in which the steeped plant was grown, knowing that this is part of the sacred harvest of Earth. Say: May this libation fill my body, my mind, and my spirit. May I be awake, aware, and blessed this day and all others. So mote it be!” ~ Raven Digitalis

Furthermore, for those of you wondering, the beverage in the photo is Espresso Roast from the Rogers Family Coffee Company (and nope, I don’t get any compensation for mentioning them, other than warm fuzzies because they’re good people), the coffee mug was purchased at King Richard’s Faire a thousand years ago, and the eldest is the person responsible for the removal of the handle (which has since become a family joke). *grin*

Enchanting Coffee Spell. First, this is not a passive voice. Next, I am writing in an active voice. Therefore, my SEO will stop telling me how to write. Furthermore, these sentences are also shorter than twenty words. Rather, stop being so controlling. Especially since most of the sentences in this post are not mine. I will keep going while until you turn green. Enchanting Coffee Spell. I can’t believe this is still orange. Finally, it has turned. Success! First, this is not a passive voice. 1. I’m pretty sure I do a ritual close to this every morning! Ah coffee, the elixir of the Gods. It works even better if someone creates the potion first and brings it to you as you are rising. Especially if they are not too cheery and “Good morning isn’t life grand” but instead soulful and respectful of your immense focus on just being awake 😉
