State of Confusion

I’m having an identity crisis of sorts.

While the name of this little corner of cyberspace is “Confessions of an Internet G33k,” lately it’s feels more appropriate to call it, “Adventures in Camping.” I’m happy to have been inspired to write entries on a regular basis again – nevertheless, I feel I’m veering away from the spirit of my original topics. Not sure if it matters at this point – my three regular readers aren’t complaining, so I guess I’ll ride the wave of inspiration rather than scrutinize if I’m on the right surfboard.

I’m going to wait until next week to post about our move to our winter campsite – I figured I needed a little more time to settle in and get my bearings. I will say the transition was much more hectic than I expected, thanks to vehicle and black water issues. However, when all was said and done, we we got everything accomplished with minimum (okay, maybe a teensy bit more than minimum) stress. Oh, and once again my eldest and hubby’s sister saved the day – this time they were joined by my sister-in-law’s husband in moving heroics.

So for this week, I’m going to write about… oh heck, can’t think of anything. *pout* I know I only have probably one more blog entry before NaNoWriMo starts, which will most likely be the update on our new location. After that, I’m thinking about posting short excerpts of my NaNo results each week in November, featuring the best (i.e. the most readable) sections. Not that I even know what I’m going to do for my next novel – at first I wanted to work on the sequel to “Tangled Web” but after trying (and failing) two Novembers in a row to get it going, I’m thinking a fresh storyline is in order. However, Cat and Jack refuse to leave me alone – every time I try to come up with a new set of characters, they start whispering (in very loud voices) in my ear and I can’t concentrate.

Still, I have eight more days to come up with something. That’s plenty of time, right…?

Feel free to shout out!
